This Privacy Policy applies to ChrisAiles.com (the “Website”) and to the mortgage services of Chris Ailes, NMLS #2485778, originating in Florida and Texas through Anchor Mortgage Funding Inc., NMLS #236419, and in Ohio through Loan Factory, Inc., NMLS #320841 (“I”, “me”, “we” or “our”). By using the Website, submitting a form, or communicating with me by phone, text or email, you agree to the practices described here.

Information I collect

Information you give me. Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, property address, and anything else you enter into a form on the Website, share on a call, or send by text or email. If you begin a loan application, that application collects the financial and identity information a mortgage requires, including income, employment, assets, credit history and Social Security number, through a secure application system that has its own privacy notice.

Information collected automatically. Standard website usage data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring page, collected through cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How I use it

To respond to your inquiry and schedule or confirm appointments.
To evaluate, process and communicate about a mortgage loan you have asked me about or applied for.
To send you updates about your loan, requests for documents, and reminders.
To send marketing or informational messages where you have agreed to receive them and where the law permits.
To comply with state and federal law, licensing requirements and regulatory requests.
To keep the Website working and improve it.

Text messaging (SMS) and your mobile number

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, I may text you about your inquiry, appointments, loan status, documents I need, and, where you have agreed to it, occasional promotional or informational messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing your information

I do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. I share it only:

To complete your loan. With the brokerage through which your loan is originated (Anchor Mortgage Funding Inc. for Florida and Texas, Loan Factory, Inc. for Ohio), the wholesale lender that funds your loan, and the parties a mortgage transaction requires, such as credit reporting agencies, appraisers, title and escrow companies, insurers and loan processors.
With service providers. Vendors that help me run the practice, such as my customer relationship and scheduling system, email and phone providers, and website hosting. They may use your information only to provide those services to me.
When the law requires it. To comply with applicable law, regulation, licensing requirements, legal process or a governmental request, and to protect the rights, property or safety of any person.
In a business transfer. If the practice or brokerage is merged, acquired or sold, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction and will remain subject to this policy.

Security

I use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, and I follow the safeguards required of licensed mortgage originators. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers or full financial documents through the website contact form or by text; use the secure application link I provide.

Your choices and rights

Ask what personal information I hold about you and request a copy.
Ask me to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Ask me to delete your information, subject to the record-keeping periods mortgage law requires.
Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email, and opt out of text messages by replying STOP.

Third-party links

The Website links to other sites, including the loan application portal and the appointment scheduler. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which I do not control. Review their policies before providing information.

Children

The Website and my services are not directed to anyone under 18, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If I learn that I have, I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
