About
Columbus, Ohio to Austin, Texas to Fort Myers, Florida. I came to mortgages the long way around, and it’s the reason clients tell me the process finally made sense.
I’m originally from Columbus, Ohio. I spent two decades in television production: producing, directing, production management and editing, including years producing for HGTV. Then in 2003 I moved into real estate in Austin, Texas, and I’ve been in this industry ever since, working extensively with investors to build successful property portfolios.
I’ve seen this business from the sales side, and I’m on the financing side now by choice. That television background isn’t trivia. It’s why I can make a complicated loan make sense to a nervous buyer at nine o’clock at night, which is when the questions usually arrive.
I live and work in eastern Lee County, about fifteen minutes from downtown Fort Myers, inside one of the most active new-construction corridors in the county. Florida is home now, but Ohio is where I’m from and Texas is where I learned the business, and I hold a license in all three.
What you get from me is plain explanations, quick answers, and the same person from the first call to the closing table. And when the game is on, I’m a Kentucky Wildcats fan. Loudly.
My Florida real estate license is inactive and it stays that way. I don’t list, show, or represent. When a buyer or a seller comes to me directly, and they do, they go to one of my agent partners. I’m the lender, and only the lender, on every transaction I touch.
That isn’t a technicality. It’s the reason agents and builders can work with me without wondering whether I’m competing with them.
I’d rather send you a closing than ask you for one.
